COMPANY HISTORY
How we started and where we are today
1987
The "Salzburger Mietwagen und Reise Service GesmbH" was founded in 1987. Since then SMS is running the airport transfer from Salzburg to Munich airport.
2003
Due to the popularity the routes Linz to Munich airport, Salzburg airport to Linz and Linz airport to Salzburg were created in 2003, and they were remarkably successful since then.
2004
In October 2004 the German counties Berchtesgaden, Traunstein, Rosenheim, Muehldorf am Inn, Altoetting, Rothal Inn, Passau-Land, Passau-Stadt and Deggendorf also became part of the transfer to Munich airport.
Since 1rst of June 2004 the company SMS operates as the world's first partner of Lufthansa shuttle from Salzburg and Upper Austria to Munich airport.
2010
In 2010 the locations Klagenfurt and Graz were opened in order to carry passengers of Carinthia and Styria to Munich Airport.
2017
SMS is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Due to the corona pandemie we decided to change our offer. We only have private transfers from now.
